Almond Toffee Bars
- 1 1/2 c Unsifted flour
- 1/2 c Confectioners sugar
- 3/4 c Cold margarine; or butter
- 14 oz Sweetened condensed milk
- 1 Egg; beaten
- 1 ts Almond extract
- 6 Milk chocolate covered
- -toffee bars; in small
- -pieces
- 1 c Slivered almonds
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 if using glass dish)
2. In a medium bowl, combine flour and icing sugar, cut in margarine until
crumbly. Press firmly on the bottom of 13X9 in baking pan. Bake 15 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine condensed milk, egg, and almond
extract
