Apple Cheese Spread
- 8 oz Cream cheese -- soft
- 1 c Grated cheddar cheese -- at
- Room temp
- 2 tb Brandy or sherry
- 1 md Size apple (Granny Smith --
- Or the like)
- 1/4 ts Black pepper
- 1 ts Dried thyme
- 1 ts Dried basil
- 1 ts Dried oregano
Combine the cheeses, and brandy. Beat till smooth. Peel, core, and grate
the apple into the bowl. Sprinkle w/ the pepper and the herbs. Stir till
combined. Spoon into a bowl (or crock), cover, and chill about an hour.
Serve on toast or crackers.
