Baked Applesauce (Low-Fat)

  • 2 lg Tart apples; peeled, sliced
  • 3 tb Sugar
  • 1/4 ts Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 ts Vanilla
Place apples in a 1-quart dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. In a
small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon and vanilla; mix well. Sprinkle over
the apples. Cover and bake at 350* for 40-45 minutes or until apples are
tender. Uncover and mash with a fork. Serve warm. Yield
: 2 servings.
