Beer Batter for Fried Chicken
- 2/3 c Flour
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 1/8 ts Pepper
- 1 Egg yolk; beaten
- 3/4 c Flat beer
Combine dry ingredients & set aside. Beat egg yolk & slowly add beer.
Gradually add this to dry mixture. Moisten chicken. Dip in seasoned flour
then dip in batter. Dip in seasoned flour again. Fry. (This may also be
used for onion rings & other vegetables).
