Boston Fruit Cookie
- 1 1/2 c Sugar
- 1 c Shortening
- 3 Eggs
- 3 1/2 c Flour
- 1 ts Salt
- 1 Box Raisins
- 1 ts Soda
- 1 c Coconut
- 1 c Nuts
Blend sugar and shortening. Add eggs. Sift flour and salt. Cook raisins,
reserve 1/2 cup of raisin juice to dissolve soda in. Mix all ingredients
together and drop by spoonful. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. These
cookies will not spread.
