Country Green Beans (Also Cor Ii)
- 1 lb Fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1/4 c Chopped fully cooked ham
- 1/4 c Butter
- 1/4 c Water
- 1 Garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 ts Salt
- 1/4 ts Pepper
In a saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes
or until beans are tender.
YIELD: 4 servings
NOTES : You can also add 1/4 cup chopped onion, but I think it tastes fine
without it.
