Eastern Star Chili (Minnesota)
- 1 2/3 lb Coarse ground chuck
- 1 1/3 c Chopped onion
- 1 tb Salt
- 1/2 tb Pepper
- 4 c Chopped celery, precooked a
- 22 oz Tomatoes; chopped
- 22 oz Kidney beans
- 8 oz Tomato soup
- 2 tb Brown sugar
- 2 1/2 tb Chili powder
Brown ground chuck and onions in a large pot. Add all other ingredients.
Cover and simmer for about 1 hour.
Makes 1 gallon.
Note: I suggest you cut down on the sugar and celery.
