Fruit Smoked Pork Chops

  • 4 Pork chops -- smoked
  • 1/2 ts Sage -- ground
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 1/4 ts Pepper
  • 1/4 c Raisins -- seedless
  • 1 sm Apple, tart -- cored &
  • Sliced
  • 1 tb Flour -- all-purpose
  • 1/4 c Fruit juice -- or water
  • 1 1/2 ts Vinegar -- cider
  • 2 tb Sugar, brown -- firmly
  • Packed
Grill chops over hot coals 10 minutes. Place on heavy-duty aluminum foil;
sprinkle with sage, satl, and pepper. Top with raisins and apple; set
aside.

Combine flour and water; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until
slightly thickened. Stir in vinegar and brown sugar; pour over chops. Seal
securely. Return to grill for 30 minutes or until tender.
