Jack Daniel's Ice Cream Soda

  • 1 c Cream
  • 1 c Milk
  • 1/2 Egg yolk
  • 1/2 c Sugar
  • 1/2 Shot jack daniel's
  • 2 oz Dark chocolate; melted
  • ---for chocolate syrup---
  • 1/2 c Sugar
  • 1 oz Water
  • 1/4 c Cocoa powder
  • ---for soda---
  • 4 oz Soda water; or until glass
  • -is full
  • 1/2 Shot jack daniel's
To make the ice cream, bring milk and cream to a boil. In a separate bowl,
mix the yolks with the sugar, then stir in 1/3 of the milk mixture. Stir
well, then add the rest of the milk. Strain through a fine strainer and add
melted chocolate and Jack Daniel's. Freeze in ice cream machine as per
instructions.

**if you do not have an ice cream maker, you may purchase your favorite ice
cream and add chocolate and Jack Daniel's

For the sauce, bring water and sugar to a boil, then stir in cocoa. Let
cool.

In a 16-ounce Pilsner glass, pour in 3 tablespoons syrup, then top with 1
scoop ice cream. Repeat. Pour in Jack Daniel's and fill with soda water.
Serve with long dessert spoon and a straw.

Yield: 4 glasses
