Kahlua-Glazed Bananas

  • 4 sm Firm ripe bananas, peeled
  • -(1-1/4 pounds)
  • 1 c Water
  • 1 tb Instant coffee granules
  • 1/3 c Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 tb Reduced-calorie stick
  • -margarine
  • 1/4 c Kahlua or other
  • -coffee-flavored liqueur
  • 1 1/3 c Vanilla nonfat frozen yogurt
Cut each banana in half crosswise, and cut each piece in half lengthwise.
Set banana pieces aside.

Bring water to a boil in a large nonstick skillet. Add the coffee granules,
brown sugar, and margarine; reduce heat to medium, and cook until sugar
dissolves, stirring frequently. Add banana pieces; cook 5 minutes, turning
occasionally.

Remove from heat, and stir in Kahlua. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 4
banana pieces, 2-1/2 tablespoons sauce, and 1/3 cup frozen yogurt).
