Lady Bird Johnson's Lace Cookies
- 1/2 c Flour
- 1/2 c Coconut
- 1/4 c Corn syrup
- 1/4 c Brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 c Margarine
- 1/2 ts Vanilla
Mix flour with coconut. Combine syrup, sugar and margarine in
saucepan. Cook over medium heat. Stir until well blended. Remove from
heat; stir in vanilla. Blend in flour mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls
3-4" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 for 8 to 10 minutes.
