Macaroni And Cheese with Tomato

  • 1 cn Condensed; (10-3/4 ounces)
  • Tomato soup
  • 1 3/4 c Hot water
  • 2 c Shredded american or colby
  • Cheese; (8 ounces)
  • Buttered bread crumbs or
  • -cracker
  • Crumbs; if desired
1. Place bacon in 3-quart casserole. Cover loosely and microwave on high 4
to 5 minutes or until crisp. Stir in onion, bell pepper, macaroni, soup and
water. 2. Cover tightly and microwave 14 to 16 minutes, stirring every 4
minutes, until macaroni is tender. Stir in cheese until melted. Top with
bread crumbs. 4 SERVINGS (ABOUT 1-1/4 CUPS EACH); 640 CALORIES PER SERVING.
* 500-watt microwave: You may need to increase microwave times.
