Soft Spicy Hermits
- 1 c Sugar
- 1/2 c Salad oil
- 3 c Flour
- 1 ts Cinnamon
- 1/2 ts Nutmeg
- 1/4 ts Salt
- 1 ts Baking soda
- 1/2 c Milk
- 1/2 c Molasses
- 3/4 c Raisins
1. Cream sugar and oil together.
2. Sift flour, cinnamon and nutmeg, salt and soda.
3. Add this mixture alternately with the milk and molasses to the creamed
sugar and oil.
4. Stir in raisins.
5. Spread on ungreased cookie sheet.
6. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
7. Cut into squares when cool.
