Spicy Ladies Fingers for Blue Ribboned Wi - Okra
- 15 ml Vegetable oil
- 2 Garlic cloves; chopped
- 1 Pinches turmeric; curry
- -powder,
- ; ground cumin,
- ; chilli powder and
- ; cardamom
- 75 g Okra; sliced
- 2 Chillies; chopped
- 50 g Cauliflower florets
- 30 ml Double cream
- 1 Squeeze lemon juice
- 2 Naan breads
1 Heat the oil in a pan and add the garlic and spices. Fry for a few
minutes. Add the okra with 150ml/ 1/4 pt Water and bring to the boil.
2 Stir in the chillies and cauliflower and cook until tender. A few minutes
before serving, stir in the cream and lemon juice. Serve with the naan
bread toasted on a griddle.
