Vietnamese Dipping Sauce (Nuoc Cham)
- 1 Clove Garlic; Minced
- 1 sm Bird Or Serrano Chile;
- -Seeded And Minced
- 3 tb Fish Sauce
- 3 tb Water
- 2 tb Fresh Lime Juice; (2-3
- -Tablespoons)
- 1 tb Granulated Sugar
Stir together all ingredients until the sugar has dissolved.
Makes about 1/2 cup, for 6 servings
NOTES : Serve with Shrimp and Rice Soup (Chao Tom)
