Vietnamese Dipping Sauce (Nuoc Cham)

  • 1 sm Bird Or Serrano Chile;

  • 3 tb Fish Sauce
  • 3 tb Water
  • 2 tb Fresh Lime Juice; (2-3
  • -Tablespoons)
  • 1 tb Granulated Sugar
Stir together all ingredients until the sugar has dissolved.

Makes about 1/2 cup, for 6 servings

NOTES : Serve with Shrimp and Rice Soup (Chao Tom)
